Cumulative and security updates areĭownloaded and installed without any issues and the machine runs fine. The currently installed version is the 1909, build 18363.1171 (Windows 10 Pro license).
Question Laptop won't turn on, no fan spinning.I have been experiencing numerous problems during the update for several months, first during the update to 2004 and now for 20H2. Question Asus ROG Strix turns off with RGB lighting red and flickering but will not start up with a cold boot ? Question Laptop turning ON but no display & not booting to Windows most times ? Question Laptop making high pitched sound when turned off. Question Acer laptop won't turn on, (no charging light, no nothing) ? When the original hdd is hooked back up, it just loads into Windows and stays on. Even just pressing F12 to go into boot options and leaving it on the selection screen, after maximum 2 minutes it will turn off. So I check the fan I check the connection I check everything and its fine, So I strip everything and just load into Bios for diagnostics. We retry several times and the same thing happens, the shut down occurs anytime between 20 seconds and 2 minutes after the power on. We install the disk and start the installation process and suddenly the laptop turns off. So its my brothers laptop, he asked me to buy an ssd for him to upgrade. I suspect this is the reason for the problem but I dont want to order a battery without being sure. Laptop battery is dead/blown up and been using it with power supply. I am a technician for the last ten years and have also asked fellow technicians with way more experience than mine but everyone says they’ve never seen this before. Really strange problem and seems like a puzzle for expertt solvers.
